About Us

Milestone Market Garden is a small family run market garden that grows and sells seasonal vegetables, fruit and flowers to the local community in Chudleigh, Newton Abbot, Bovey Tracey and the surrounding area (To see a full list of towns and villages we currently deliver to please see our Delivery and Collection page).

The market garden is run by Sarah and Simon Bartlett, with the help from their sons Oliver and Harry, and the assistance of a small team of volunteers who generously give their time to help establish and maintain the flower and vegetable gardens.

All of our produce is grown without using pesticides. Our focus is on minimising soil disturbance as much as possible and rebuilding a healthy soil ecosystem and soil structure, to ‘regenerate’ soil health. By creating the best soil we hope to grow the best produce.

We grow a wide range of produce and are always interested in reviving interest in older heritage varieties that have been forgotten, as well as anything that is unusual or a little bit different from the norm. Taste is everything, so if it performs well and tastes exceptional it will find a home in our market garden.

We sell our freshly harvested vegetables, fruit and flowers at our stall in Bovey Tracey produce market on the first and third Saturday of every month.

You can also find and follow us on Instagram and Facebook @milestonemarketgarden where we offer regular updates of what we are growing and what will be available at market. We also update the blog on this website with similar updates.
